Initially, rumours mentioned that Fortnite Mobile was so late to the party because it would be exclusively for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but now the beta is out and owners of Samsung Galaxy flagships including the S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8+, S9, S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3 and Tab S4 can install it. It is still semi-exclusive in that you can only download the installer app from the Samsung Galaxy Apps for now, but Note 9 users will also get 15000 V-Bucks, a special Galaxy skin and access to more in-game content.

Huawei Malaysia recently announced the arrival of their Huawei nova 3 in stunning red, so as an incentive for their fans, those who come dressed in RED and purchase the Huawei nova 3 in red at RM1899 from the Huawei Flagship Store at Pavilion Elite KL will get premium gifts worth more than RM1000. On top of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Samsung also revealed their new Samsung Galaxy Watch. Obviously a rebranding from their previous Gear smartwatches, the new Galaxy Watch has a 1.3-inch / 1.2-inch circular display with Gorilla Glass DX+. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it is coming to the US on 24 August 2018 at $400 (~RM1631) for the larger 1.3-inch display version and $375 (~RM1529) for the smaller 1.2-inch display version while the Bluetooth-only versions will retail at $350 (~RM1427) and $330 (~RM1345).

(Updated) Today, Samsung Electronics has started the month of August with a bang by revealing the Galaxy Note 9. Coming soon in Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, Metallic Copper and Lavender Purple, the phablet will come in two variants which are 6GB + 128GB and a massive 8GB + 512GB model (+ an expandable memory up to 512GB). Malaysia will be part of the first wave to receive it. 

(Updated) With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in New York City on 9 August 2018, the device is available for pre-order in Malaysia starting on 10 August 2018 for the price of RM3699 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and RM4599 for the 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The pre-order will end on 19th August 2018 and all the colours except for the Lavender Purple model will come.

Paired up with the upcoming Huawei In-house processor, the HiSilicone Kirin 980 chipset featuring the Neural Processing Unit, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will see a huge improvement in terms of battery life, comfortably pushing the usage per charge to more than a or two day assuming my theories are correct.

OPPO has given us an opportunity to check out the OPPO F9 and the looks and design of the phone. Based on the early preview, the OPPO F9 will have a Waterdrop Screen notch at the top of the display, a diamond shaped gradient colour design and it will support VOOC Charging technology with 5V/4A power delivery which is presently available in most OPPO’s more expensive smartphones. In terms of colour choices, the OPPO F9 will be available in Sunrise Red and Midnight Blue.
