We've all seen any number drop tests, torture tests and reliability tests from various sites, but does Samsung actually do any reliability testing of their own? Well, it appears they do, and not just in the usual rather amateurish way most other tech sites go about it. Imagine having dedicated machines to test dropping, tumbling, impact, heat and water submersion and you get an idea of how strictly Samsung tests the reliability of their smartphones.

Based on DLNA certification, the recently rumoured Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 based Samsung Galaxy S4 has been confirmed. For now, the models that appeared in the DLNA report include the SHV-E330S, SHV-E330K, and SHV-E330L. The SHV-E330K and SHV-E330L are listed with the Qualcomm MSM8974 chip which is Qualcomm's internal classification for the Snapdragon 800.

The HTC One Mini or M4 has appeared again. Placed side by side with the original HTC One, this time with the same colour, it looks like it will maintain the same aluminum unibody chassis but go for a much smaller build. While the chassis remains the same it looks like there will be a white ring of plastic, perhaps to increase durability and reduce weight.

Nokia has long been associated with Symbian as its main operating system, especially for it's feature phones. However, as of this summer in 2013, Nokia will stop shipping Symbian smartphones. The last Symbian smartphone will be Nokia's 808 PureView. Moving on from this, Nokia will only manufacture smartphones that run Microsoft Windows Phone OS.

After the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active got it's official confirmation it is now time for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom to get it's official announcement. Is it the Samsung Galaxy Camera's little brother or is it the Samsung Galaxy Camera II? Regardless, it looks like a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini on the back and a Samsung ultracompact digital camera at the front, complete with 10x telescopic optical lens. In terms of tech specs the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom offers:

Based on a recent interview from Alan Bowman, Microsoft regional vice president for sales and marketing in Asia, the Xbox One will only be brought over to Asia in November... 2014. Even then, this will only be for existing Asian Xbox Live countries such as Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. Malaysia was unfortunately not in the list.

Since Sony did start this whole water-proof smartphone craze with their Sony Xperia Z, it makes sense that they'd also be the first to provide a water-proof tablet as well. The tablet in question is the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. Following the thin and OmniBalance design similar to the Sony Xperia Z, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z looks great with a flat and ultra-slim profile (at 7mm it is thinner than the Apple iPad). Microsoft has finally disclosed their Xbox One game console. The console has typically been constrained mostly to the US market, while other markets around the world had to deal with rings of death and various other problems on their own. Thankfully, Microsoft have decided to make it officially available globally in 21 markets around the world. It will be available this November for $499 (RM1565) in the US. In Europe it will go for EUR 499 (RM2066) and GBP 429 (RM2088) in UK. Unfortunately, Malaysia was not included in the list of new markets.

In a move that practically confirms that Apple is working on a smartwatch called the iWatch, Apple recently applied for the iWatch trademark in Russia. Reported in Russian newspapers Apple applied for two trademarks under the name iWatch at Rospatent, which is Russia's patent agency.

AnTuTu seems to be the new place to find new unannounced phones, as this new benchmark score from the site reveals a Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone that may be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Thanks to the benchmark screenshot, the model number of SHV-E330S was revealed which matches quite closely with the LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy S4 released solely for Korea. The reason why it could be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor is because it is running at 2265MHz, a speed that supposedly only the Snapdragon 800 can achieve without overheating.
