Meta recently announced their new “budget” smart glasses or Meta Glasses for USD299 (~RM1239). While they have made these themselves, they are still partnering with EssilorLuxottica (they own Ray-Ban). Compatible with prescription lenses, there are 26 styles with some designed by Kylie Jenner and they are all currently available, just maybe not in Malaysia for now.

Samsung and OpenAI are now expanding their collaboration to a new level, as Samsung will reportedly provide ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to all employees under Samsung Electronics. That's because Samsung wants to focus on internal AI adoption across the company's operations. According to OpenAI, Codex is now used by over 5 million users worldwide and has recorded nearly 800% growth since 1 February 2026. 

Sony has officially brought its latest wearable air conditioner, the REON POCKET 6, to Malaysia. If you are looking to beat the local heat, the new kit is officially priced at RM899, and it is available right now through official Sony stores and their online portal. The standard retail package comes bundled with the main cooling unit, an upgraded neckband, and a special sensor clip that tracks the outside temperature.

Starting today, Astro customers can subscribe to the Disney+ Basic and Prime Video packages from RM25 per month, excluding SST. The packages also come with the Astro Blockbuster Pack, which includes four Film & Entertainment channels, namely Astro Showtime (CH 411), Astro FAM Time (CH 412), Rock Action (CH 414) and Rock X Stream (CH 415). Valve has officially announced that reservations are open for its highly anticipated console, the Steam Machine, featuring an AMD chipset, up to 2TB storage and more from USD1049 (~RM4352). Alongside this major hardware drop, Valve is rolling out the stable SteamOS 3.8 update. The nubia RedMagic Tablet 5 Pro was recently teased in China with what appears to be a visible AquaCore Liquid Cooling strip, glowing neon blue RedMagic logo and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Aimed at gamers, the tablet is set for release on 30 June 2026, but we expect Malaysia release dates to be a few months later.
