One of the thinnest tablets around is now available in Malaysia as the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is retailing at RM1669. According to Sony Malaysia, the LTE 16GB version will come in both black and white but the WiFi 32GB version will only come in white and even then, in December. Featuring a super-bright and sharp 8-inch display with full HD 1080p resolution the tablet also features the ability to use the PS4 Remote Play function, so you can game with your Xperia Z3 Tablet compact and PlayStation 4 console anywhere within range. The tablet is also iP65/68 certified for water and dust proofing so you can take a dip with it and still be fine. Like other ASUS PadFone smartphones, the ASUS PadFone S smartphone can slot in to a tablet dock fittingly called the ASUS PadFone S Station. Featuring dual front speakers, it's own battery (so it can charge the PadFone S smartphone while it is docked) and a crisp 9-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution the PadFone S Station offers a better and bigger viewing experience for those who want it. LEAGOO, a new smartphone brand from China is set to release their latest LEAGOO Lead 5 smartphone in the market on 8 November 2014 for just RM399. With branches across the world, LEAGOO Malaysia has already been here since April 2014 featuring various smartphones including the Lead 1, Lead 2, Lead 3 and Lead 4 priced from RM199 to RM699. Notable features for the LEAGOO Lead 5 include NFC functions, a 7.9mm thin chasis with aluminum frame, 2800 mAh battery, Dual SIM standby support and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It should be a very tempting smartphone for those looking for a more affordable device, which is in line with the LEAGOO brand philosophy of "Practical, Affordable and Stylish". ASUS Malaysia have announced that their much teased super smartphone, the ASUS PadFone S (PF500KL) is now available in Malaysia. The PadFone S offers a number of high-end features including a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 4G LTE-A Cat4 connectivity, NFC, Qi wireless charging, a new ISP enabled 13MP PixelMaster camera and both shock and water resistance. All of these flagship features are available for just RM899 and it can slot into the 9-inch full HD 4G LTE tablet dock called the PadFone S Station which is separately priced at RM499. Both are available at authorized distributors around Malaysia and should offer an awesome all-on-one experience. The full tech specs and features list can be seen below along with some videos:

The Lenovo S90 or Sisley has been officially announced bearing nearly identical looks with the Apple iPhone 6. The only differences are that the plastic band for the antenna at the top side has been moved up while the camera does not stick out or protrude. Apparently, Lenovo have taken it to a whole new level by turning the Lenovo S90 introduction site into a near exact replica of the Apple iPhone 6 site. Tech specs and features for the Lenovo S90 are definitely midrange though and include a quad-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB RAM, 5-inch 720p display, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Even the measurements match as the Lenovo S90 measures in at 6.9mm thin. No details on Malaysia release dates or pricing yet but it is availble in China for 1999 RMB (RM1093). Stay tuned for more developments, but we're expecting Apple to come down hard on this one.

The Honor 6X has appeared at China's TENAA, this time sporting dual cameras on the rear with a dual-LED flash. Like the Huawei Honor 6 before it, it will have the same metallic alloy trim on the top and sides along with the same rounded corner look. Other tech specs and features include a 1.8GHz octa-core processor (probably the Kirin 925 or newer), 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, up to 64GB microSD support and 5.5-inch full HD display. The smartphone measures in at 150.4 x 75.68 x 7.5mm and will probably support 4G LTE Cat6. It could also have an IR blaster just like the Honor 6. We have no idea as to what the dual camera on the rear actually does but such setups usually mean either a 3D effect or after focus effect. No news or details on Malaysia release dates or pricing but the Honor 6X is expected in China by the end of 2014. Stay tuned and we'll see if Huawei Malaysia brings it in anytime soon.

The title of world's thinnest smartphone seems to be highly coveted these days as barely a week after the 4.85mm thin OPPO R5 got announced, another super thin smartphone has come along to take it's place. This smartphone is the Vivo X5 Max, featuring a 4.75mm thin body, again with a thicker, protruding camera. The full measurements for the X5 Max include 153.9 x 78 x 4.75mm and rather generic looks but tech specs and features are midrange to high-end. These include a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch full HD display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, support for 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The Vivo X5 Max has yet to be officially announced but has been seen at China's TENAA. No Malaysia release dates or pricing yet, but with Vivo Malaysia already here, we wouldn't be surprised to see it soon.

Apple Malaysia just released the local Malaysia pricing for the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus tonight. A quick look at the price reveals that the pricing is as expected at RM2399 for the 16GB Apple iPhone 6 and RM2749 for the 16GB Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Like everywhere else, the two smartphones will be available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options. The Apple iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c get price drops and are stuck to just 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage options with the complete price listing as follows:
