The Huawei Honor series of smartphones have always been about value and quality in nicely designed package. Rounding out the previous Honor 3C Lite, Honor 4C, Honor 4X and Honor 6 family is the Huawei Honor 6 Plus. Like the Honor 6 before it, it features 4G LTE Cat6 connectivity and IR (infra-red) blaster for universal remote control but also adds on a dual rear camera, massive 3600 mAh battery and improved HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor. Is it just a bigger Honor 6 or more than that? We find out with our review of the Honor 6 Plus smartphone.

When it first came out, the ASUS ZenFone range of smartphones made a huge impact as devices that looked as good as flagship smartphones with nearly as good performance and features yet were priced for the entry-level to midrange. Obviously, the ASUS ZenFone 2 range of smartphones have rather big shoes to fill, but with features like 4GB RAM, 5MP PixelMaster front cameras, 64-bit Intel processors, 4G LTE and improvements across the board, the new ZenFones could very well surpass the achievements of its predecessors. Does it live up to the hype or break expectations? Check out our full review of the 4GB RAM enabled ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 32GB storage to find out.

It is now almost customary for most smartphones coming from China now to have certain key features. This includes a metal frame on the sides, a custom interface that doesn't have an app drawer and looks like an Apple iPhone or other flagship smartphone. Surprisingly, the Doogee Ibiza F2 steps away from it's China-brand siblings for a light, thin and full-metal frame smartphone that we think could also be a great device for the gamer on a budget. Read on and find out why (along with some other details) below.

Returning back to the Doogee Ibiza F2, we go hands-on with this entry-level smartphone. Tech specs remain a 1.5Ghz quad-core MediaTek processor, 5-inch display, 4G LTE connectivity and 13MP rear camera while the pricing is actually RM669. In our unboxing video we mentioned that it is one of the few China-brand smartphones we've seen to have and all-round metal frame much like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 complete with machined and chamfered edges. Does it feel as good as it looks? We find out in our hands-on video of the Doogee Ibiza F2.

Featuring an all metal frame, the straight yet curvy Huawei P8 looks and feels like a premium smartphone despite its RM1799 pre-order pricing. Somehow, Huawei have managed to fit in a phablet-sized 5.2-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display into the body of a smartphone with a 4.7-inch display. Flat and compact at just 6.4mm thin, the P8 is fairly light as well at just 144g. We managed to get some hands-on time with the Huawei P8 and even got to try out it's new always-on voice command function. Check out our Huawei P8 hands-on video in this article.

Despite being priced at RM1799 on pre-order here in Malaysia, the Huawei P8 is without a doubt a very premium smartphone in the flagship class with an all metal body and curved metal sides. This premium quality is even reflected with its premium quality box. We were quite curious to see if this also extended to the contents contained within so we did an unboxing of the Huawei P8 as well. No surprises there but do check out the video in this article for yourself.

The recently announced Huawei P8 is one of the few flagship smartphones in the market being priced for below RM2K. Apart from a Kirin HiSilicon 930 processor its most notable tech spec or feature remains its 13MP RGBW rear camera with OIS or Optical Image Stabilization built in. We recently managed to test out this feature by recording the moon on a moving boat at night at 720p. To top it off, it was done without any tripod. We were certainly impressed but do check out how the Huawei P8 managed for yourself with the video in this article.

After being announced in November last year, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact remains one of the thinnest tablets in the market. While the tech specs are a bit older, it is still quite relevant with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 8-inch Trilumionos display, 6.4mm thinness, 8.1MP rear camera and more. We managed to get our hands on the 4G LTE equipped version for a little unboxing video which you can check out in this article.

At RM579, the Sony SmartBand Talk SWR30 is one of the more affordable smartbands with semi-smartwatch like features that you can buy here in Malaysia. While it is still a fitness tracker, the ARM Cortex-M4 processor tech specs and 1.4-inch e-inch display with 288 x 128 pixel resolution sets it apart from your usual fitness tracker. Granted, you can also take calls from it, add on other apps and it works with other smartphones asides from Sony smartphones. Check out our hands-on video with the Sony Smartband Talk SWR30 in this article for a closer look at this smartband with an e-ink display.
