Just like all the other telcos in Malaysia, Celcom have come out with a Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV offer for tomorrow's official launch of the smartphone. This offer is at a jaw dropping RM588 but there are a number of conditions that have to be met to get that price which include:

• You have to buy it during the launch
• You must sign up for the Celcom First Voice with a Data mPro bundle plan

Celcom has officially begun the roll-out of its 4G LTE network with a 1000 first-come first-serve deal for all their subscribers. As mentioned earlier, this deal is for 3-months service with the USB dongle. While this seems to be the only device and plan for Celcom 4G LTE for now, the company have stated that more plans and more devices are coming.

At their official roll-out the company listed the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV, Apple iPhone 5, Nokia Lumia 920 and Sony Xperia Z as smartphones that would support Celcom's 4G LTE network. They hope to roll out LTE support for the iPhone 5 this 18 May 2013 (which according to them is the actual commercial launch date for the service).

After months of foreshadowing, Celcom has finally come out with their 4G LTE coverage. Going under the name Celcom 4G LTE, Celcom will be offering a 4G LTE Modem with 3 months worth of Celcom First data plan for RM199. This deal will be available tomorrow (23 April 2013) at selected Blue Cube outlets (Blue Cube @ sunway, Blue Cube Pavilion, Blue Cube Menara Celcom) and is limited to the first 1000 customers though. Those customers after the first 1000 will probably have to pay the standard monthly payment of RM138 per month.

Practically every telco is coming out with their preregistration plan for the soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV. Celcom is no different as we discovered a listing for the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV under the devices available for Celcom. While the link seems to still be undergoing work (links to the Samsung Galaxy S III instead of it's own Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV) it does list the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S IV model being released by Celcom as the Exynos 5 Octa version. Great news from Celcom! They are offering the Asus Fonepad for only RM729 instead of RM849 as retail price in the Malaysia's market. However you need to act fast because it is only exclusively available at the PC Fair Kuala Lumpur which is happening from 12 April to 14 April 2013. With the 8th of April the BlackBerry Z10 is now officially available for our major telcos in Malaysia. This includes Celcom from RM1188, DiGi from RM899, Maxis from RM1088 and U-Mobile from RM1268.

As the weeks go by, another major smartphone telco bundle drops in price and this time Celcom has decided to do that for the Samsung Galaxy Note II. While previous bundles saw the price dip down to RM1999, Celcom are now offering the Samsung Galaxy Note II from as low as RM1458. The lower subsidized price is available for their Celcom First Prime, Premier or Elite on the condition that it comes with a Mobile Internet plan and a 12 months or 18 months contract. This time around it is Celcom's turn to offer the Sony Xperia Z with two new plans added to their already quite large number of plans. These new plans are the Mobile Internet mPro + Celcom First Voice and Celcom First mPro Plus + FREE 60 minutes + 60 SMS.

Combining bundled data with voice calls and SMS, the Mobile Internet mPro plan offers 5GB of Data at RM88 with a choice of Prime 40, Premier 80 or Elite 150 Celcom First Voice plans for the price of RM1288. The Celcom First mPro Plus plan offers the same 5GB of Data at RM88 with Free 60 minutes and 60 SMS at RM1388. Both mPro plans are for 24 months and have penalty fees for early termination of the contract.

BlackBerry's latest flagship Z10 has finally got some coverage from the local telcos with a new pre-registration package from Celcom Malaysia. This package is more like a pledge in that you are interested in the Celcom BlackBerry Z10 deal and will only require you to fill up your personal information (name, contacts, etc) here. As an added bonus you will also get an additional RM200 rebate when you register online at the aforementioned link.
