September is the month when we'll be getting to see two of the highly-anticipated flagship smartphone series, one from Google and one from Apple. According to sources, Google could present the Pixel 6 series on 13 September, one day ahead of the Apple iPhone 13's launch.

Unfortunately, the upcoming Apple iPhone 13 models are likely to be more expensive compared to the previous generation. Recently, TSMC has notified its customer that it will impose a 20% increase on the price of all technological processes. Since Apple is one of the semiconductor manufacturer's primary customers, it's no doubt that the tech giant would be affected.

Since the pandemic started, a common issue with some smartphones is that they can't be unlocked if you're wearing a mask. The Apple iPhone 12 series has this problem, though there are some workarounds. Fortunately, Apple is working to solve this for iPhone users.

This year, it's reported that Apple will follow the usual schedule for the new iPhones' launch, which means that the iPhone 13 series will debut in September. Few more days before entering the month, a Chinese site might have accidentally revealed the exact date of when the iPhone 13 models will be on sale, including the latest gen of AirPods as well. 

Earlier this year, rumours claimed that Touch ID might make a return to the iPhone. Apple was granted a patent for an under-display Touch ID and has likely been testing it in the last few months. However, we might not get it this year after all.

Last year, Apple postponed the iPhone 12's launch to October due to the pandemic. For its upcoming iPhone 13 series, it is reported that the tech giant is likely to be on time with the launch in September. Now, the latest insight has arrived by claiming that the next Apple event will indeed happen in the third week of the month.

The iPhone 13 series is not far from us as Apple is expected to present it in September. Besides possibly featuring a smaller notch since iPhone X, the upcoming iPhones are said to arrive with an improved display and camera. According to the latest report, the devices may add several new camera functions to the devices for creative professionals.

The launch date for the Apple AirPods 3 has changed a few times in the last few months. Last year, analysts claimed that it will be mass-produced in early 2021 before launching soon after. It was then changed to May 2021, and now it's expected to be a Q3 2021 launch.

Yesterday, we saw news saying that Samsung will bring 65W fast charging support with its next flagship series, Galaxy S22. Although it's not as competitive as some of the Chinese smartphones that come with 120W charging support, it's enough for us to see that Samsung is taking a big step forward in the charging part. On the other side, Apple might not be doing the same as it's reported that the iPhone 13 series will only have support up to 25W.

It seems that a recent report by mydrivers.com seems to hint that the upcoming Apple iPhone 13 series smartphones will not come equipped with Touch ID. With that in mind, it seems to the upcoming series will only allow users to unlock their iPhones using either a PIN or Face ID.
