The well-known smartphone brand OPPO launched the OPPO Reno8 T 5G in Malaysia in February. It has some pretty good features as a mid-range class phone with good imaging software. After being in the rumour mills for a while, OPPO Malaysia today unveiled the OPPO Reno8 T series in our country. The latest mid-range offering by the company, the series is offered in two variants - Reno8 T 5G and Reno8 T 4G.

Previously, we reported that the OPPO Reno8 T series may be launching soon as the design of the smartphone lineup was recently teased by the company. Now, we got confirmation that the device is indeed coming, with OPPO announcing a launch date of 7 February 2023 on its official Malaysian website.

OPPO may be gearing up to release the OPPO Reno8 T series soon as the design and colours of the lineup have recently been revealed by the company on its official Indonesian website. Coming with the tagline “The Portrait Expert”, the series comes in two variants, either 4G or 5G.

Huawei Malaysia has officially announced that the Huawei FreeBuds Pro, WATCH GT 2 Pro, as well as the MatePad T 10s, will be available in Malaysia starting 10 October 2020 onwards. Those who are interested in getting any of the devices mentioned can purchase over to any Huawei Experience Stores located across Malaysia or at Huawei’s Online store.

Huawei previously announced the Huawei MatePad for RM1399 in May 2020, but have just announced that it will now be available on 9 September for RM1399 with a free complimentary keyboard and other freebies worth up to RM500. Tech specs for the MatePad are a mix of midrange and high-end including a Kirin 810 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 10.4-inch full HD display.

In addition, the more entry-level Huawei MatePad T previously announced for RM799 will also be made available on 9 September 2020 for just RM499. This special promo is just for 9 September 2020 mind you, and there’s no mention as to the number of units available for sale for either the MatePad or the MatePad T, so if you're interested best mark your calendars and stay ready.

Last week, plastic cases of the alleged Sony Xperia 5 II were being sold on Alibaba, suggesting that the phone could be on the way. That seems to be the case as a leaked image of the phone has now been unveiled. This phone is expected to a premium device with flagship tech specs.

Other than launching its new MateBook X Pro laptop, Huawei also announced that two more tablets will be coming soon. Along with the MatePad Pro that was launched last month, Huawei has made the new MatePad and MatePad T tablets available in Malaysia too. The two tablets will start selling on 16 May 2020 for RM1399 and RM559, respectively.
