Just over the long weekend, Sony Mobile Communications (Sony Mobile) organized a photography masterclass with special guest and renowned photographer, Kid Chan to conduct the session. The two-hour workshop was opened to all Sony Xperia Z5 series users who had registered via Xperia Lounge. Conducted at Delectable by Su at Glasshouse Seputeh, Kid Chan shared his personal experience and mobile photography tips using the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual to the participants on how to utilize the smartphone’s key camera features especially in taking professional shot-like images.

As the rumour hinted yesterday, Sony did indeed officially announce a pink version of the Xperia Z5 Premium via their Twitter page. However, no price tag was revealed nor the launching date, even the target market is much of a mystery; but it's said that it will first launch in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China first. To recap the specifications, the Xperia Z5 Premium features: 

A new leak somewhere from Asia, most probably China judging by the fonts on the display has revealed a new Sony prototype and claimed to be the Xperia C6. Aside from the full body leaked image, there's nothing else to know about except that it has a 6-inch display and it's a mid-range smartphone.

Sony have officially released a pink Xperia Z5, the smartphone was designed by Rikke Gertsen Constein for customers to have new ways expressing their style and personality. The device will be available in February next month.

The tech specs of the pink Xperia Z5 is more or less the same with the Z5 series, with a couple of perks. It's said to feature octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, the latest Sony camera, integrated fingerprint sensor power button, 64 bit capabilities, ultra fast 4G LTE speed, two-days of battery life with innovative power-saving technology, and comes in full metal and frosted glass back.

Sony Mobile's Xperia Z5 Premium Dual, the world's first 4K smartphone is currently on pre-order sale in 11street. The exclusive agreement is also available in the LINE app (11street channel) for users to participate and bet their lucky chance to win.

Priced at RM3099 and available in Chrome, Black and Gold, the pre-order will end at the end of November (30th) and delivery will arrive within the first week of December 2015; making it an early Christmas present to those who have pre-order it or won through LINE app. The shipping delivery is free of charge, and here's a recap of the tech specs:-

At first glance, the Sony Xperia Z5 seems like a tough cookie to crack. But iFixit begs to differ, as they actually posted pictures stripping it down into pieces. They even tell you the steps of how to do so in their website. 

Sony Malaysia has just launched the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium Dual for Malaysia. The Xperia Z5 Compact is single SIM while the others offer Dual SIM versions but only the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual supports a 4K resolution TRILUMINOS display as well as a chrome mirror-like finish. It is also the only one without any Malaysia pricing but Sony Malaysia say they’ll reveal that next month. For now, the Sony Xperia Z5 dual is going for RM2699, while the Xperia Z5 Compact will be priced at RM2299 and will be available starting from November. 

Sony Mobile Communications recently announced that they will be bringing in the Sony Xperia Z5 Series consisting of the Xperia Z5 Compact Dual, Xperia Z5 Dual and the world’s first 4K smartphone, the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual for Malaysia. Sony recently announced their latest Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact smartphones with some clearly significant advancements. The most noteworthy feature would likely be the 4K or 2160 x 3840 pixel display on the Xperia Z5 Premium and the world's fastest 0.03 autofocus 23MP rear camera for all three. Other tech specs and features are equally noteworthy as all three are packing in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and side fingerprint sensor but the Xperia Z5 Compact is using 2GB of RAM instead of the 3GB RAM found on the other two. Display sizes are of course different with the Xperia Z5 Premium going for the aforementioned 5.5-inch 4K display, while the Xperia Z5 goes for a 5.2-inch FHD display. The Xperia Z5 Compact goes a step down with a 4.6-inch display and 720 x 1280 pixel resolution but all of them are be water proofed and have 4G LTE Cat 6 connectivity. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but we should know more soon.  

Rumours about the upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 have surfaced detailing tech specs and features. The rumours indicate that the Xperia Z5 could be coming in September 2015, which jives with what we know from those in the industry. However, the rumours also show tech specs that include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 21MP Sony Exmor RS IMX230 CMOS rear camera, 4500 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner. The new camera should allow for 4K video recording. While there are no specific Malaysia release dates, we expect the Xperia Z5 to also come with the Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Ultra and Xperia Z5 Tablet. As usual, do take this with a pinch of salt, but it does sound like the correct timing for it to happen.
