    U Mobile launches a new U Biz Fibre 10Gbps plan for businesses

    Today, U Mobile launches its first ever 10Gbps fibre internet plan for businesses in Malaysia. Dubbed the U Biz Fibre 10Gbps, the plan is priced at RM1899 monthly and allows businesses 10x the speed of standard business fibre plans, which range from 100Mbps to 2Gbps.

  • It's been a while since we last heard of ViewQwest. Recently, the company held an event at The Stride Strata Office @ BBCC in Kuala Lumpur, showcasing Malaysia’s first 10Gbps service. The event was graced by the presence of YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital.

  • Allo Technology, a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is offering internet speed of up to 1Gbps for residential users and up to 10Gbps for enterprises in Malaysia thanks to its utilisation of fibre optic broadband. Available through the company’s City Broadband brand, they are also competitively priced, with the 1Gbps residential plan priced at RM199 per month.

    Selangor ramps up 5G connectivity in the state, set to build another 1553 network towers this year

    The Menteri Besar of Selangor, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari today confirmed that the state would be building 1553 5G network transmitters in the state this year. He further elaborated that the installations will be done in four stages.

    Speaking at the Selangor State Legislative Assmebly (DUN) today, Amirudin said that the 5G network is capable of providing fast internet of up to 10Gbps with 1ms latency. The network will also benefit up to 1 million devices per square kilometre.
