We earlier reported on the Volkswagen Onefootball Brasil app for football fans looking to get the latest news on the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Volkswagen has since updated us that they've reached the 1 million download mark. The app is still available for free on the App store, Google Play and Windows Phone Store while the accompanying Volkswagen Polo Sedan contest is still on until 13 July 2014.

Volkswagen has kicked-off a Onefootball Brasil app and Volkswagen Polo Sedan giveaway contest for the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup. Combining all the latest online news, videos and social media such as twitter about the World Cup into a single app, fans can even cast match predictions or vote on the 'Man of the Match' for each game. In conjunction with this, Volkswagen Group Malaysia will be having a contest to give away a brand new Volkswagen Polo Sedan. All you need to do to enter is to take a test-drive of any Volkswagen vehicle from 22 May to 13 July for a chance to win the Polo Sedan. Here's what Volkswagen had to say about the app:
