Xiaomi recently launched a mid-range smartphone under its POCO subbrand in Malaysia, the POCO F7, with the standout feature being its large 6500mAh battery. The Indian variant of the smartphone is even more impressive with its 7550mAh cell, and it looks like Xiaomi ain’t resting on its laurels, as the company is touted to launch POCO and Redmi smartphones with over 8000mAh battery capacity next year!

HONOR is launching a new mid-range smartphone series called ‘Power’ soon. Moreover, one of the smartphones under the series will apparently be a model previously spotted on the MIIT database, which sports a massive 8,000mAh battery.

Sister companies OPPO and OnePlus are reportedly testing a next-gen battery for their smartphones, which is made out of 15% high-silicone content. The smartphone battery is touted to be 8000mAh and supports 80W charging, which wouldn’t be out of place on a tablet!
