News & Reviews:   Asus Fonepad Note 6

Those who like taking notes with pen and paper often go for stylus driven devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note phablets but are often turned off by the high price or if they go for more affordable alternatives, the somewhat cut-down features. Now, there is another option with the ASUS FonePad Note 6 which is not only  affordable yet packs a lot of great features into a slim and stylish 6-inch Full HD phablet. While the Asus MemoPad 8, MemoPad FHD 10 and FonePad Note 6 were all recently announced they still haven't got their offical Malaysia launching yet, the good folks at Lowyat.net got an interesting leaked image showing off pricing and confirming tech specs. Reconfirming most of what has already been reported on, the Asus MemoPad 8 will have an 8-inch screen, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, come in black or white and be priced at RM649. The Asus MemoPad FHD 10 on the other hand will have a 10.1-inch screen, a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 5MP rear camera, a 1.2MP front camera, come in blue and white and be priced at RM1199.

Asus also had quite a few announcements to make with the official announcement of the Asus Fonepad Note FHD6. The Asus Fone pad Note FHD6 also known as FonePad Note 6 and it goes down a number from the standard 7-inches and offers a 6-inch tablet phone. For some reason or another Asus don't want to call the Note 6 a phablet but that is pretty much what it is, complete with built-in stylus. It features a dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 (brand new). Tech specs for the FonePad Note 6 include a 6-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel screen, 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 16GB/32GB storage, Android 4.2.2 and packs a 3200 mAh battery. Despite it's smaller size measures 10.3mm thin (making it quite thick actually) and weighs in at 210g (which is a bit less than the larger phablets). Quite obviously, the Asus FonePad Note 6 aims for the performance phablet market. Unfortunately, there isn't any news yet on pricing and no Malaysia release dates too.
