Two years ago, the first ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 was revealed during the pandemic, and I loved it to death. At that time, it had AMD CPU options of up to Ryzen 9 4900HS CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q 6GB GPU, making it a little laptop monster. Due to its popularity, ASUS finally made a successor with the same name. But is it better?

As announced from CES 2022, the new 2022 ROG Zephyrus lineup is finally here in Malaysia. Gamers in Malaysia can now choose between three ROG Zephyrus laptops which are the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, ROG Zephyrus G15 and ROG Zephyrus G14 from a starting price of RM8,499.

ASUS has officially announced that the ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition has been unveiled in collaboration with Alan Walker. Not only that, but they’ve also unveiled the ROG Remix sampler, which is basically the packaging of the Zephyrus G14 AW SE that doubles as a sample pad.

ASUS Malaysia has officially unveiled the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop, which is priced from RM4499 onwards and it’s available from today onwards for selected variants (refer to the table at the bottom). In terms of where you can purchase the aforementioned laptop, it is expected to be available platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, as well as the ASUS experience stores and authorized distributors.

Whilst the Ryzen 4000 series laptops aren't commercially available in Malaysia yet, we managed to get our hands on the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA40 1IV) gaming laptop. Don't you dare look down at this small buddy, it's packed with the latest Ryzen 9 4900HS CPU. That's the highest processor unit we get to test out so without further ado, here's our review of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14.
