It first made its debut at the MWC 2018 at the end of February 2018 as part of the new ZenFone 5 series and they will come in two variants - a 6GB + 128GB model for just RM1899 and the bigger 8GB + 256GB model for an amazing price at RM2299 only. The device is available across all ASUS concept stores in Malaysia as well as their official store in Lazada (with a chance to get it for just RM1699 on 31 July 2018!) as well.

Lazada has leaked the price of the ASUS ZenFone 5z but this time it is the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Based on the Lazada listing, the device is priced at RM2299 and it is equipped with the top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and camera capable of scoring 90 on DxOMark. Yesterday there was another ASUS ZenFone 5z leak as well where the price of the 6GB + 128GB internal storage went for RM1899.

Lazada recently listed the ASUS ZenFone 5z earlier than expected and it is priced at RM1899. In terms of tech specs, the device is running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 12MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup, 8MP front facing selfie camera, 6.2-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and it is powered by a 3300mAh non-removable battery. Seriously, TechNavers, if we knew we would have announced it already but then again, it does show the popularity and while ASUS is keeping their mouth tight on this, we have received news that the gaming phone will be launching in India during the third quarter.

ASUS India recently launched their Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 packing ASUS ZenFone 5Z at 29999 INR (~RM1767) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version, 32999 INR (~RM1944) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version and 36999 INR (~RM2179) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version. Considering that Malaysia is within the same region, it makes sense to assume that the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage ZenFone 5Z will be priced for below RM2K as well.

Hailed by DxOMark as one of the better midrange cameraphones with a score of 90 (on par with the Google Pixel), ASUS are coming back in a big way with an affordable midrange smartphone that not only takes great pictures but looks great and performs with AI or Artificial Intelligence functions as well.
