After quite a few leaks, the ASUS ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) is now available in the Malaysian ASUS Store for RM519. While the cheaper ASUS ZenFone C can still be seen on the site, it doesn't have stock and looks like it will probably be phased out soon. Despite being a bit pricier the ZenFone Go offers a bit more in terms of tech specs which includes a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5-inch 720p display, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP front camera. Currently it is available in black and white with more colours coming soon.

The upcoming ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 tablet packing in the latest Intel Atom x3 (SoFIA) processor pricing has been revealed via local distributor Dynamics Distribution and their Facebook Page at RM499. Tech specs include 1GB RAM, dual-SIM dual 3G standby and more. Along with the ZenPad C 7.0, it was also revealed that the ASUS ZenFone C with 2GB RAM would also be available at RM399 via SatuGadgetDotCom. Tech specs for the enhanced ZenFone C remain mostly the same though with the with the extra addition of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. In related news, ASUS Malaysia currently have their ASUS ZenPower 9600 mAh powerbanks officially available on their ASUS Store at just RM59.

Rumours have surfaced about a new ASUS ZenFone for the entry-level market called the ASUS ZenFone Go. Coming in pastel colours, this new ZenFone follows the same design as the ZenFone 2 complete with rear volume controls. This position is currently held by the ASUS ZenFone C with its 4.5-inch display. This new ZenFone Go is rumoured to come with a 5-inch display with at least a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Other tech specs include a MediaTek MT6582 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB storage, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Despite the camera upgrades, it is expected to feature just 3G connectivity. While there are no Malaysia release dates or pricing details we suspect that the ZenFone Go is just for selected markets and won't be coming to Malaysia since we've yet to see any Mediatek powered ZenFones here just yet. It is expected by the end of July 2015 though, and we could see an Intel powered ZenFone Go for Malaysia instead, perhaps powered by the budget friendly and 3G modem integrated Intel Atom x3. ASUS Malaysia recently launched a trifecta of affordable yet feature-filled devices with the ASUS Fonepad 7 FE171CG, ASUS ZenFone C and ASUS EeeBook X205. The Fonepad 7 FE171CG doubles tech specs and features by offering a slimmer 7.9mm thin body, 8MP rear camera, 16GB storage and 2GB RAM for just RM529. While it doesn't replace the Fonepad 7 FE170CG, the ASUS ZenFone C replaces the ZenFone 4 smartphones for RM349. Notable tech specs for the ZenFone C includes a 4.5-inch display, larger 2100 mAh battery, 5MP PixelMaster camera with Low-Light function and SonicMaster audio with external amplifier. The third device is the ASUS EeeBook X205 which is a stylish and thin Windows 8.1 notebook computer with an 11.6-inch display for just RM699 for the 32GB storage version and RM799 for the 64GB storage version.
