In this extremely short news, the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 that has gone on a special sale today for RM599 has been sold out on LazMall. To add on to that, ASUS Malaysia is also proud to announce that a total of 500 units was gone with the wind in just 30 minutes. That's pretty impressive.

ASUS has announced that the ZenFone Max M2 will be available on LazMall for RM599 on the first day of sales which is 15 January 2019. That being said, from 16 January onwards, the device will then be priced at RM699 instead.

So apparently, ASUS Malaysia has released a teaser image on their Facebook page announcing another budget-friendly device coming soon. It's none other than the ASUS ZenFone Max (M2), the younger sibling to the current ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 and it's slated to be released on 11 January 2019.

Only a week until the big reveal of the much anticipated ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 as well as the Max M2 and it seems like the tech specs of the smartphone has been leaked. Reportedly, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 will be rocking the Snapdragon 660 and 4GB RAM while the Max M2 will be sporting the Snapdragon 636 and 4GB of RAM.

No, it is not another ROG phone, but rather, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2, which will be unveiled in Indonesia on the 11th of December. The company claims that the phone is a gaming phone but it does not seem likely that it will be running on the same software that the ASUS ROG gaming phone utilizes.
