News & Reviews:   ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini Malaysia price

Last week, we wrote some news about the Zenfone 8 series on its tech specs and design. The initial rumour was that the lineup would only consist of Zenfone 8 Flip and Zenfone 8, but it seems that there's a Zenfone 8 mini as well.

ASUS will be presenting its upcoming flagship series Zenfone 8 on 12 May. This time, besides a regular variant and a Pro variant, the brand will also be bringing a compact Zenfone 8 Mini to the market. Before that happens, a leak has appeared revealing the storage options and battery capacity of the 'mini' device.

It seems that the ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini might have been spotted on Geekbench, hinting that the smartphone will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and up to 16GB RAM. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and the full tech specs, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is officially available in the local market.

Most brands don't care for smaller phones anymore, but it seems that some brands are still willing to experiment. In fact, there's a new rumour claiming that ASUS will unveil a new ZenFone smartphone that's less than 6 inches.
