    With the advent of mobile banking, having all your accounts on your phone has become all the more important. Unfortunately, some people might not know how to activate Secure2u via the Maybank MAE app, which helps protect you from the threat of increasingly rampant digital scams. If you haven't applied for Secure2u yet or have switched to a new device, below is how you activate it at your nearest Maybank ATM to get protected!

    It seems that India is currently testing a new ATM withdrawal method that allows the user to withdraw money simply by scanning a QR code displays on the ATM. With that said, the user theoretically does not need to physically touch the ATM other than to grab the dispensed money.

    Many of you have already noticed that the need for cash is at an all-time low during the movement control order (MCO). Still, it's always good to have some cash on hand, which means we have to drop by a nearby ATM sometimes. However, the government has declared that ATMs will no longer be available for 24 hours during MCO.

    According to Bernama, it seems that any customers from other banks that withdraw money from any of the 2900 Maybank ATMs nationwidewill not be required to pay the RM1 withdrawal fee starting from 6 April 2020 until the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO) order. While there is no information on when the end of the MCO will be, we do know that the government will announce whether it will be extended on 10 April 2020.
