Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently launched its first cloud infrastructure region in Malaysia, with plans to invest RM29.2 billion (US$6.2 billion) up to 2038. This is the largest investment by an international cloud provider in Malaysia to date.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) yesterday announced that it is planning to launch an AWS Infrastructure Region in Malaysia. Furthermore, AWS, which is an Amazon.com Inc. company also announced that it will invest USD6 billion or approximately ~RM25.5 billion in Malaysia by 2037, the largest international technology investment to date in our country.
