Starting from 15 June 2026, Netflix is now requiring that each profile has their own individual emails. Previously, 1 email covered 5 profiles, but users in the US have been reporting that each profile now needs an individual email. The roll-out seems to be gradual though, with some users in the US getting this requirement first, but we expect Malaysians to also get a notice from Netflix about it soon too.

Today, Netflix has announced its Q1 2022 financial report and for the first time in a decade, the company is losing subscribers. The report also suggests that it will continue to dwindle down and this could be due to account sharing.
