Epic Games might have claimed that Fortnite wouldn't be returning to the Apple App Store, but that wouldn't be possible anyway. The company allegedly pledged to adhere to Apple's guidelines if its developer account was reactivated. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't have any intentions of doing so.

The policy changes to the Apple App Store has been an inconvenience for a few companies. Back in August, Apple announced that Google Stadia wasn't allowed on the App Store due to a certain policy. But it looks like Google has finally got a workaround that will bring the platform to iOS.

Earlier, it was reported that the Government of India has banned 118 apps from China due to security reasons. Among the apps, there are some popular ones like WeChat, PUBG Mobile, Alipay, Taobao, Arena of Valor, and many more. Now, it looks like the government wants to gain more control over the app usage of the users. With that said, the country is planning to launch an app store to rival Apple's App Store and Google Play Store.

Last week, Apple announced that it will be terminating Epic Games' developer account. It was likely retaliation to the latter submitting a lawsuit after Apple had removed Fortnite from the Apple App Store. Microsoft has now decided to throw in its support for Epic Games, stating that termination of a developer account will hurt other game creators that rely on Unreal Engine.

When Epic Games sued Apple last week over the removal of Fortnite from its App Store, you'd think that things would simmer down before the two companies settle things in court. But Apple isn't going to take things lying down and has banned the former's developer account. And funny enough, it's going to be a fortnight from the date that Fortnite was removed. Oh boy...

When money is involved, things tend to escalate quickly. And things certainly escalated when Epic Games decided to implement its own in-app payment system for the mobile version of Fortnite. Now the game has been removed from both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
