Never thought we’d see the day but the Apple MacBook Pro have been banned on flights by the US Federal Aviation Administrator (FAA). The decision came after Apple recalled certain units of the laptop that came with batteries that posed a fire risk.

Apple recently came out with a voluntary recall notice for older 15-inch MacBook Pro units sold between September 2015 and February 2017 that may be prone to overheating. So, if you bought a 15-inch MacBook Pro during that time period, you can send it in for a free battery replacement (which should take 1 to 2 weeks).

As more and more premium laptops flood the Malaysian market, it gets increasingly more difficult to find the best premium laptop for your needs even when your price range is around RM5000 or RM5K. While 15-inch display laptops offer a bit more in terms of display real estate, the 13-inch display premium laptops are the more serious workhorse devices you'd probably need to work and play on the go.

As Apple WWDC 17 draws closer, we got our first news of the upcoming products that will be shown at the event. According to sources, a new Macbook and Macbook Pro model will be announced, as well as a Macbook Air.

The Apple MacBook Pro is turning 7 years old, with the current generation launched about a year ago. It is the right time for the model to be refreshed or made anew, and the rumours speculating about the next model are fantastic. We may see a thinner model in the works, along with a touch-sensitive OLED panel at the top of the keyboard, as part of the refresh.
