While we wait in anticipation for Apple's annual event in September, rumours have been flying around that the company could separate into two events - one for accessories and the other for the iPhones. Now, new reports from Bloomberg are sharing a more detailed launching plan and here's what we know so far about the upcoming iPhone products.

News can often come from interesting sources, perhaps even in the source code of a platform. Well, good news for Apple fans because there's news of a new Apple TV. Apple recently released its latest beta version 13.4 for tvOS and to the surprise of many, a hint of a potential new Apple TV device was found within.

Samsung Malaysia recently revealed that all 2019 Samsung Smart TVs and some 2018 TVs will be able to feature the new Apple TV app in more than 100 countries and offer AirPlay 2 support in 176 countries thanks to a firmware update. This means you will be able to enjoy Apple TV channels and iTunes movies and shows on your Samsung Smart TVs or for AirPlay 2, customers can playback videos and other content directly from their Apple iPhone, iPad or Mac.

The Apple Malaysia store will be holding a special Red Friday one-day shopping event on 10 January 2014 (this Friday). So far Apple hasn't said what discounts are available or how much but they have said that purchases over RM250 will get free shipping. The one-day sale should start as the clock ticks over to 12.01am at midnight on Thursday. You can however expect 2 things, 1) things will go fast, so if you have the opportunity (and more importantly money) then get it quick, and 2) expect the Apple Malaysia store to get slow as users flood the site. We're guessing the Apple iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, Apple TV, iPod nano, iPod Touch, Macbook Air, iMac and MacBook Pro will be the ones to get the discounts as the links for these products have been changed to red just like the text of the advertisement. Accessories that may get the same treatment include those for the iPhone 5S, iPad mini and iPad Air.
