Apple offers free Watch Series 2 and 3 cracked screen replacement

Apple has determined that “under very rare circumstances” the screens on the aluminum models of the Apple Watch Series 2 and Apple Watch Series 3 may form a crack (as shown in the image). As such, they are offering a free screen replacement program for selected models (this of course doesn’t apply to cracks due to impact force or not being careful with your Apple Watch though).

  • Apple Watch Series 3 officially announced with 4G LTE, W2 processor and wireless charging for about RM1678

Apple Watch Series 3 officially announced with 4G LTE, W2 processor and wireless charging for about RM1678

On top of all the new Apple iPhones, Apple also made the Apple Watch Series 3 official with 4G LTE, a new more powerful dual-core W2 processor, wireless charging and Siri-based watchOS 4 for $399 (~RM1678). A non-4G LTE version will go for $329 (~RM1384) and both will be available in the US from 22 September 2017. The stainless steel case versions plus a milanese loop, ceramic case and leather bands are also available at higher price tags. Unfortunately, it looks like Malaysia is not one of the countries supported by the 4G LTE version so you're probably better off with the non-4G LTE version. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but it could make its way here with the latest iPhones in November or December.
