Apple reportedly still working on an iPhone hardware subscription service, may launch later this year

Apple recently unveiled a slew of products during its Far Out event, including the latest iPhone 14 Series. Well, if the latest information from reliable tipster Mark Gurman is to be believed, consumers may be able to purchase the new iPhones through a monthly subscription service from Apple as early as late 2022.

  • Apple is reportedly set to ‘revolutionise’ the tech industry once again next year by changing how hardware will be sold. According to a Bloomberg report by Mark Gurman, a reliable leaker on everything Apple, the tech giant is planning to start selling mobile devices through a hardware subscription service.

These include a subscription service for the iPhone and iPad that would require consumers to pay a monthly fee to Apple in order to buy and use the device. Gurman claimed that this service is Apple’s biggest push into automatically recurring sales other than its current digital services.
