The Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have both been revealed finally, but in typical Apple style, they haven't revealed all of the tech specs and details yet. One of the main questions many of our readers and more tech spec inclined users would like to know is:

How much RAM and battery (mAh) does the Apple iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus have?

This question is especially relevant as it gives a better idea as to how the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones will perform along with how long they will last on a single charge. Check out our analysis below.

In what has become the most leaked Apple iPhone to date, the Apple iPhone 6 has finally and officially been announced. Confirming most of the rumours, the Apple iPhone 6 will come in two versions, one with a 4.7-inch display and another with a 5.5-inch display. The 4.7-inch display version will be called the Apple iPhone 6. If you've seen the previously leaked dummy versions, not much has changed with the official iPhone 6. This means you get a 6.9mm thin metal chassis with rounded corners and sides. The most notable confirmed and unconfirmed features include the fact that it will not be using sapphire crystal glass, instead it will be using glass much like Corning Gorilla Glass 3 (Corning Gorilla Glass 3 was not named specifically). While the previous Apple iPhone 5S focused more on health, the newer focus for the iPhone 6 looks to be the camera as Apple are throwing in an image signal processor and faster auto-focus to help the still 8MP rear camera handle things. As of the time of writing, Apple will be holding an event in the next 11 hours or so where many are expecting the next Apple iPhone, the iPhone 6 to be revealed. Quite a number of rumours and leaked images suggest that we could see two sizes of Apple iPhone 6, one with a 4.7-inch display and another with a 5.5-inch screen. Other rumours also say that we could see the Apple iWatch smartwatch and the latest version of iOS make an appearance, so if you're interested in seeing it all happen as it happens, do check out the Livestream event at about 1 o'clock tonight.

Apple has sent out invitations for an event on 9 September 2014. The invite doesn't give much of a hint apart from the title "Wish we could say more". However, many are expecting the event to reveal the Apple iPhone 6 or at least the version with the 4.7-inch display. Already, any number of Apple iPhone 6 clones have appeared, many of which have been confirmed to be how the original will look like. Other devices may also make an appearance such as the Apple iWatch and possibly some premium Audio devices from Apple's recent purchase of Beats Audio. The final version of iOS 8 is also expected to be available on the same date but there are still no details on Malaysia release dates or pricing. If we were to follow the trend we should see the Malaysia launch in November 2014 at $100 (RM315) more than the previous Apple iPhone 5S.

Leaked plans of the Apple iPhone 6 have appeared showing very detailed tech specs and designs of the upcoming Apple Iphone smartphone. The pictures reveal many details, mainly that the upcoming Apple iPhone 6 will come in two models, the 4.7-inch display N61 and the 5.5-inch display N56. In terms of looks, it seems like the next Apple iPhone 6 smartphones will look almost exactly like the dummy models already leaked previously and will be quite thin at about 7mm. Other measurements incude 138.14 x 66.97 x 6.9mm and 112g for the N61.

We recently reported on Apple iPhone 6 clones with 4.7-inch displays appearing several months ahead of the actual Apple iPhone 6 smartphone. Well, now you can see it in a comparison video with the Apple iPhone 5s where it reveals itself as the Wico i6. Quite obviously, the 4.7-inch screen is not a Retina Display and the operating system is not iOS. Tech specs and features for the Wico i6 include a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, Android 4.4 KitKat and the aforementioned 4.7-inch screen with a 960 x 1704 pixel resolution. The camera has an LED flash but we doubt that the home button holds any form of Touch ID fingerprint scanner. Pricing is around $200 (RM639) to $300 (RM959) and we expect it to appear in Malaysia with third-party sellers anytime now. Be warned though, that this Wico i6 and other clones are not guaranteed to look exactly like the Apple iPhone 6 which is due in September 2014 so you may just be buying a cheap knockoff of a prototype. The Apple iPhone 6 is set for a reveal in September 2014 but there are already clones released for the smartphone out in the market. Granted, this is just for the China market but the clones are using the dummy mockup shells of the Apple iPhone 6 which have appeared recently. The overall look is super thin but is running an operating system that looks very much like the current iOS (flat icons, etc.). No details about what sort of tech specs and features these clones are offering but we suspect that it could be a cheap MediaTek processor with 5MP rear camera. At least you'll have LED flash and a larger screen similar in size to a Samsung Galaxy S5, but don't expect any of the latest Apple iPhone features like a 2GHz A8 processor. The Apple iPhone 6 has been rumoured to use sapphire crystal displays for better durability and also get a screen size increase to 4.7-inches. Apparently, the folks at MKBHD along with Sonny Dickson managed to get their hands on what appears to be this 4.7-inch sapphire crystal display for the Apple iPhone 6. They then went on to do a torture test which includes trying to scratch it with a knife, keys and bend it. It is still quite a while yet before the upcoming Apple iPhone 6 gets announced, but already mockups of the smartphone have appeared. This time around, the leaker is Sonny Dickson, who was one of the first rumour mongers last year to come out with the official Apple iPhone 5S and 5C smartphone mockups. The new Apple iPhone 6 mockups come in two flavours, one with a 4.7-inch screen while the other goes for a 5.5-inch display. The side by side comparison shows that they are both very thin but follow the Apple iPad mini design with rounder corners and slimmer bezels. Rumours about the next Apple iPhone say that manufacturing for a 4.7-inch display Apple iPhone 6 could start as early as July 2014. A still unnamed 5.5-inch display iPhone is expected to begin mass production in August 2014 while a 4-inch iPhone is expected to continue production. The rumours come from the supply chain as usual with Foxconn Electronics expected to do most of the production. Still no news on whether the ongoing 4-inch display smartphone will be the iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S. Still no news on pricing or Malaysia release dates but with all rumours do remember to take this one with a pinch of salt.
