The Apple iPhone SE 2022 that launched earlier might not be doing as good as the tech giant thought. According to the latest report, Apple is cutting down the device's production by 20%, as the demand is lower than expected.

Apple refreshed its iPhone SE lineup recently and you’d be hard-pressed to notice any difference from its previous generations. That’s because the design is unchanged from the outside, essentially using the same body as the iPhone 8.

Under the hood, however, is a different story as that is where the iPhone SE shines. In fact, this 3rd generation of the lineup features the A15 Bionic chipset that’s found in Apple’s flagship smartphone the iPhone 13 series!

This year's Apple iPhone SE doesn't only come with a more powerful processor, but it also brings an improvement that you might not know. Thanks to the enthusiasts from PBKreviews, it's found out that the device actually has a larger battery capacity than its predecessor. 

Apple had announced an event earlier to unveil some exciting new products. These include the new generation of iPhone SE, a new iPad Air and Macs with the M2 chip. Ahead of the event at midnight, some very last-minute rumours have appeared regarding the third instalment of the company's budget iPhone.

Is a new Apple iPhone SE coming soon? From what we've heard, the answer is probably yes. Last week, there was a rumour claiming that Apple has already started testing the new model. Now, some analysts are convinced it will launch fairly soon.

Between the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series, there's a high chance we would get an updated version of the iPhone SE. Past rumours have been hinting at a design change for the more "budget" version iPhone. However, things might not be going to happen as the latest source claims that the next iPhone SE will maintain the design.
