Generally, if you bought an Apple iPhone X in Malaysia, your friends and family would automatically think you're crazy to spend that much on a smartphone. However, one lucky couple got a really nice reward for buying one from Digi, which resulted in the company sponsoring them to an all-expense paid gastronomic extravaganza of the best fine dining cuisine in Asia.

Celcom Axiata Berhad officially launched the Apple iPhone X today after customers queued up at their Sunway Pyramid Blue Cube store since Monday, allowing the first in line and the first pre-order customers to buy the 64GB iPhone X for just RM10. Other Celcom postpaid and prepaid customers can get the iPhone X via the EasyPhone, zero interest 24 month instalment programme.

U Mobile recently announced that they will be offering the Apple iPhone X (along with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus) from RM3465. The iPhone X will be available with the Postpaid i90 and i30 plans over 24 month contracts and you can pay for it using U Mobile's microCredit or UPackage installment plans. In addition, those who sign up between 24 November 2017 and 26 November 2017 will also receive a Mac City voucher worth RM200. Check out the U Mobile site for more details.

The pre-order of the Apple iPhone X has officially started today and will officially launch in Malaysia on 24 November 2017. You know who else is excited about it? Is Apple's Face ID biometric security system is as safe as they claimed? This question has been thrown around for about two months now when Craig Federighi, Apple senior vice president, failed the Face ID demo during the Apple event on his first attempt. In this short announcement, Celcom Axiata Berhad has announced today that the 10th Anniversary iPhone - the Apple iPhone X will be available on 24 November 2017. Before the official launching date, customers will be able to pre-order iPhone X starting on 17 November at its Celcom Online Store or visit the nearest Blue Cube and Celcom Outlets nationwide. There's no official price on how much Celcom will offer, but it will definitely be through the FIRST postpaid plans such as Gold Plus, Gold Supreme, Platinum Plus and others, offering tons of Internet data + Video Walla, Music Walla, free network calls and much more. As expected, the Apple iPhone X has been confirmed to come to Malaysia on 24 November 2017. Just posted on the Apple Malaysia site with the words "Available 24.11", the iPhone X remains priced at RM5149 for the 64GB storage version and RM5899 for the 256GB storage version. Both are available in just Silver (or more commonly known as Panda) and Space Grey. No telco news and the like just yet, but we expect them to follow shortly. The Apple iPhone X offers Apple's answer to the 18:9 fullview display with their now signature notch, no more fingerprint sensor and Face ID. It is also, one of the first iPhones to have a back glass, which Apple currently offers on replacement for $549 (~RM2320). JerryRigEverything and SquareTrade both came out with durability and drop test videos strongly backing up the obvious need to buy a good case or skin with the iPhone X (which is expected in Malaysia in the coming months). Imaging benchmarking platform DxOMark has given the Apple iPhone X a fresh overall high score of 97, which is way up there in the lists of smartphones with its notorious dual 12Mp sensors, including the wide-angle f/1.8 lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) for the main camera. The iPhone X overall is way up there in the list of smartphones only second to the powerful Google Pixel 2 due to a lower score of 89 for its video capabilities.

Pre-orders for the Apple iPhone X have just begun in some countries today and it’s already selling so fast that even Apple Inc. has released a statement telling walk-in customers that they are “encouraged to arrive early”. As if we needed the warning.
