News & Reviews:   Apple iPhone XS Max Malaysia release date

U Mobile, Digi, Maxis and Celcom have announced that they will be offering the latest Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR on 26 October 2018. To add on to that, the pre-order is now live today (19 October 2018) onwards at 3.01PM on its official orange website, just like the Apple Malaysia website. Without further ado, let's check out what each telco is offering!

Today, Apple Malaysia's website has quietly revealed the official prices for the latest iPhone generation - the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR. The following starting price tags are RM4999, RM5399 and RM3599 respectively, Malaysian customer will be able to pre-order the devices starting at 1501 hours on 19 October 2018 which is this coming Friday.

Camera-focused site DxOMark have come out with their review of the Apple iPhone XS Max, giving it a rating of 105 (a good 4 points lower than the 109 1st-place scoring Huawei P20 Pro). Granted, this is much higher than the 97 scored by the iPhone X, as they remark that the 6.5-inch display iPhone XS Max uses a larger 1.4µm pixels sensor with improved image processing, enabling zero shutter lag and real-time HDR preview.

Apple is quite notorious on their battery and RAM reveal whenever there is a new device released every year annually, but now that we know the real figures, some folks from Tomsguide.com decided to run a battery test on the new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Apple are rather infamous for not revealing the RAM or Battery tech specs for their devices. Instead we find out from sites like Forbes and GSMArena that that the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have 4GB RAM while the iPhone XR will have 3GB of RAM. All of them will utilize Apple’s new 7nm A12 Bionic Chipset with Neural Engine for more AI (Artificial Intelligence) driven features along with dual SIM (nano + eSIM) connectivity.
