Apple today officially released iOS 16 for all supported iPhones and it seems that early adopters are already finding a bug with the new OS. Taking to social media, many iPhone users are claiming that they are experiencing App Store errors after installing iOS 16.

Revealed during Apple’s recent Far Out event, the Apple iPhone 14 Series is set for pre-order this Friday (16 September 2022), though one key detail was missing from the presentation as usual - their battery capacities. Well, thanks to a Chinese regulatory database, we now know the battery capacities of each iPhone 14 model, from the iPhone 14 to the iPhone Pro Max.

We’re just a few days away from the official release of iOS 16 and it looks like Apple is adding yet another new feature to the iPhone OS. Spotted inside the iOS 16 RC to developers yesterday (7 September 2022), the system can now detect counterfeit AirPods and accordingly, warn users when they try to connect them to their iPhones.

Brazil’s government yesterday (6 September 2022) ordered Apple to stop selling iPhones without a battery charger in the country, claiming that the tech giant is providing an incomplete product to consumers. Moreover, Brazil’s Justice Ministry also fined Apple 12.275 million reais or ~RM10.718 million and ordered Apple to cancel sales of the iPhone 12 and newer models.

With that in mind, you’d be surprised that Apple, one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world is still selling the same 5W USB charger that ships with older generations of the iPhone (before they stopped including chargers in the box).

Thankfully, it looks like Apple may set to discontinue selling the 5W power adapter given how it has been out of stock in various countries for a while now. As reported MacRumours, the 5W USB Power Adapter is no longer available at many Apple Stores around the world.

The iPhone and other Apple devices may soon feature more ads baked inside its pre-installed apps, such as Maps, Books and Podcasts. According to reliable insider on everything Apple, Mark Gurman, the company has internally tested search ads in Maps similar to Waze, whereby paid recommendations will appear when users search for restaurants, stores or more.

The upcoming iOS 16 update will be coming to supported iPhones some time next month, potentially together with the launch of the next-generation iPhones. Unveiled during WWDC 2022, one of iOS 16’s most useful features has got to be ‘Live Activities’, a live notification on your lock screen that keeps track of things that are relevant to users such as the progress of an e-hailing ride, delivery orders and even the live score of sports games.
