As 2015 is coming to an end, rumours of the so called Apple “iPhone 6c” and Apple iPhone 7 have not. And we just got some new rumours on what Apple might have in stored for us in the future.
First up, Commercial Times reported that the iPhone 7 could actually be waterproof. They claimed that Apple is working and developing some kind of “new compound materials” that would replace the iPhone 7’s antenna, which also means the possibility of removing the bands from the current iPhone generation’s back. Apple is already looking far ahead beyond 2016, as according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he has some statements on the future of the 3D Touch feature, the new Apple iPad Air 3,Apple iPhone 7, a new Apple Watch and a new 4-inch iPhone that could be the “iPhone 6c”.
Firstly, Mr. Kuo predicts that the iPad Air 3 will be released in the first half of 2016. It could be in March together with the new “iPhone 6c” and the second generation Apple Watch, this is kind of unusual for Apple to do so as they would usually release new Apple products around every September or October. Another odd thing is that he said the new iPad Air 3 will not adopt the 3D Touch because of production issues.

Yes, you read that right. A shop in China has figured out how to upgrade your Apple iPhone or iPad’s storage up to 128GB of space without causing it to brick on you. How did they do it? Hey, it’s China. They can do anything.
Apple products aren’t easy to modify, as they install a software protection that verifies the hardware in the right configuration. That’s not even the main problem, because you need special tools to work on the hardware and chips and it’s difficult to do so. Not to mention, the iPhone 5s’s motherboard is really tiny to be ejected out safely for the memory chip inside. According to the shop owner, he has very little trouble with iPads and the iPhone 6 is easier to handle but the iPhone 6s is still untested.
