Just a few minutes ago, we spotted a piece of interesting news from @BrianShenYiRen who is the Vice President and President of Global Marketing for OPPO. On his Twitter account, he posted a teaser concept video of the company's latest FreeVOOC which is a feature that can charge a smartphone through the air within 10m of distance.

PSA or Public Service Announcement time TechNavers, the 1st of April has long been considered April Fools and that seems to be a tradition with those in tech as well. Already we've got quite a few “interesting” announcements from Google and Alcatel, but checking through, they're probably fake news, so be careful what you believe in tech today.

On cue for 1 April 2014, Samsung has announced the Samsung Fingers Smartglove which features a flexible 3-inch UHD Emo-LED display on the palm. The claimed tech specs also include a hidden 16MP camera with most of the controls being done through gestures. The smart glove charges through solar tech, which could be on the back of the hand. There are also various types in the works with the iron spike covered Samsung Fingers Tough and the lady-like Samsung Fingers Class. Quite obviously, this is an April Fools joke as all the claimed tech specs are impossible to implement at this time. It is very good to know that Samsung have a good sense of humour and can at least laugh at themselves so that we can laugh along with them.
