The BlackBerry Z30 or A10 as it is codenamed has made several appearances on its own already, and now we get to see it side by side with the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q5. From just it's appearance alone, it is quite obvious that the Z30 will have a much larger screen but retain nearly the same look and feel as the Z10. In terms of tech specs the only major upgrade for this supposedly "most powerful BlackBerry" is the slightly higher clocked processor and larger 5-inch 720p screen. Recently the Z30 has also appeared in a new video complete with boxing.

BlackBerry's budget smartphone, the BlackBerry Q5 is currently available under contract with Maxis from a super low subsidized price of RM438. Granted, the BlackBerry Q5 is already retailing at RM1299, but the below RM500 price range makes the smartphone available to even entry-level markets (and opens up LTE to more people). Available on the BBMore148, BBMore88 and BBMore55 plans, the Q5 is tied for 24 months and 12 months contracts.

Celcom is now offering the BlackBerry Q5 from as low as RM888. The subsidized price is available with their Celcom First packages under 12 month and 18 months contracts. For more details regarding these packages check out the table.

TuneTalk is now offering the BlackBerry Q5 with 3 months free data and calls with no contract. The catch is that you're practically paying for the BlackBerry Q5 at the standard retail price of RM1299. However, if you decide to buy the Q5 from TuneTalk you get free delivery, a free Tune Talk SIM pack with 1GB of data and 60 minutes free talk time for 3 months, which explains the aforementioned 3 months worth of free data and calls. Switch over from another telco and TuneTalk will up the time from 3 months to 5 months. After this time period (of 3 or 5 months) you can continue with the TuneTalk Cun plan for RM38 a month and 1GB of data with 60 minutes free talk time, or you can switch back to any other telco.

BlackBerry devices have always been at a premium price, which could explain why they don't sell very well, especially for the midrange user. The newly released BlackBerry Q5 changes all that by not only offering a midrange device but also offering it at a retail price of RM1299. Quite a lot of people opted for the BlackBerry Q10 as opposed to the touch-screen BlackBerry Z10 mainly because it stayed true to the BlackBerry design, and it had a physical QWERTY keyboard. However, many of those people were quite shocked by the BlackBerry Q10's rather high price. With that in mind the company has released the BlackBerry Q10's little brother, the BlackBerry Q5. Recently announced at the BlackBerry Live 2013 in Florida, the BlackBerry Q5 as it is officially known, seems to have been the previously leaked BlackBerry device formerly known as the R10. As such, it looks exactly like the R10 images, right down to the 3.1-inch touchscreen to the almost separate feeling QWERTY keyboard.
