    Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X to be announced on 2 August 2018

     Based on a small teaser video, the Blackberry Evolve and BlackBerry Evolve X will be unveiled on 2 August 2018. Unlike the previous Blackberry KEY2 smartphones, the Evolve models will not feature a physical QWERTY keyboard and instead have a near bezel-less 18:9 fully touch screen display. The Blackberry Evolve mentioned will target the indian and Asian Market while in other markets it will be called the Blackberry Ghost and Ghost X.

    We could see another variation of the BlackBerry KEY 2 which is the BlackBerry KEY 2 LE. However, it is not clear whether the LE stands for Lite Edition or Limited Edition. There was rumours circulating around the internet stating that there could be a budget friendly blackberry device in development with presumably 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is not confirmed yet.

    Today, the BlackBerry Key2 has arrived in Malaysia for a recommended retail price of RM2599. This is the successor of the KeyOne last year and it packs a mid-range tier tech-specs, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB of RAM and we are only getting the 64GB storage variant. The display is also small at 4.5-inch but its resolution is up to 1080p. The battery has also improved significantly at 3500mAh and has Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
