We have seen the news about a future WhatsApp update that could allow multiple devices to access one account. Although it is unsure whether it will allow us to use the account on other devices without our phones being online, it is still a good update for those who are constantly switching between devices. Now, it appears that the messaging app will bring another update that some of us have been longing for which is to mute a group chat forever.

Covid-19 (aka Coronavirus) is a big topic of the year. Not only has the virus taken thousands of lives in China, but also spread to other countries and regions at a fast pace. The circumstance has led people to discuss it widely on the Internet, be it sharing new updates or providing ways to prevent the virus. However, there are some platforms in China that censor words that are related to the virus, and one of them is WeChat.

Yesterday, U Mobile has announced a partnership with WeChat to launch the WeChat GO Malaysia Mini Program. The aforementioned program serves to aid travellers coming from mainland China by allowing them to purchase items and services via their own currency, Renminbi(RMB) via the WeChat app.

Based on a report by thestar.com.my, there will be a feature that will be included in a future called Authentication, which will stop users from taking screenshots of conversations that are determined by the user. That being said, if the other user does not enable the aforementioned feature, they will still be able to take screenshots of the the private chat.
