The US Tariff set by President Donald Trump has caused a lot of problems. To address this issue, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that the Malaysian Cabinet will meet this Friday to discuss the implications of a recent United States Supreme Court decision regarding tariff policy. His statement came during a media engagement after attending an iftar event and the launch of a Ramadan community programme in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil has revealed that he will meet with all social media platform providers in Malaysia at the end of this month. The meeting is meant to address the management of cyberbullying issues in our country.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook has revealed that the Cabinet will discuss maintaining the service tax for domestic flights at 6% instead of 8% as per the new service tax rates. He added that his Ministry will also discuss the matter with the Finance Ministry (MOF) since taxes fall under the latter’s purview.
