As we head towards the end of 2022, Canalys announced that Xiaomi has recently topped the list of smartphone vendors in Malaysia for Q3 2022. According to Canalys' report, Xiaomi maintained its first spot on the list for the second consecutive quarter with a 25% unit share for sell-in shipments.

During the pandemic, the need for gadget devices increased as we were forced to be lockdown at home. However, it seems that the demand has decreased. According to Canalys, smartphone shipments went down 9% in Q2 2022 globally.
