Today, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) has finally brought in the latest 2016 line-up of DSLR and compact cameras into the Malaysia market. By unveiling the flagship professional EOS DSLR mode, the EOS-1D X Mark II in the launching event, the price tag was revealed to be RM25299 (inclusive of GST), with a huge leap from its predecessor featuring a newly developed 35mm full frame CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 6+ image processors, enhanced resolution of 20.2MP images, expanded ISO speeds of up to 409600 and more. A new mid-range DSLR from Canon was released yesterday - the EOS 80D as a new successor to the EOS 70D with some improved features such as the 24.2MP sensor, the AF system, image processing engine, WiFi and NFC add-ons, a 7560 RGB + infrared metering system and a broadder ISO range of 100-16000 (expandable to 51200). It will start in the USA first with $1199 (around RM5072, body only), and also a bundle set with the new EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens for $1799 (around RM7611).
