This really big phablet offers good mid-range capabilities with it's 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 1.5GB RAM but does have some nice features at the ready like 4G LTE support and an 8MP rear camera. The smartphone is available on Celcom First Prime, First Premier and First Elite under 12 month and 18 month contracts along with Mobile Internet Data plans. The iPhone 5 version being offered here is the 16GB version. According to Celcom, just sign up for their Celcom First Premier or Elite plan and you can keep your existing number.     While Celcom has announced their LTE networks for quite some time now, Apple have finally listed them as a 4G LTE carrier, compatible with the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. Apple iPhone 5 and Apple iPad Mini users under Celcom LTE should expect a carrier software update soon. This should allow users to enable LTE under the Cellular Data settings.     Celcom Offers LTE Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Starting From RM1438, 3G-version at RM1499

    Celcom has recently released packages for the new Sony Xperia Tablet Z from a subsidized price of RM1438. While this super slim and thin water-resistant tablet will be launched officially in Malaysia on 19 June 2013, Celcom are launching the tablet on 15 June 2013. The First Data plans that come with the packages are mainly for LTE connectivity but you can also get voice, SMS or MMS on a pay-per-use basis. This is because the tablet doesn't support calls or SMS but you can use the SIM in a smartphone as well. Check out all the details in the table below:

    We've only just scratched the surface with 4G LTE, especially here in Malaysia with only Maxis and Celcom offering it (and rumours that DiGi may be offering 4G LTE soon as well). This isn't too different in the rest of the world as well, as 4G LTE adoption has yet to gain the same acceptance as 3G. Regardless of this, Samsung are currently working on 5G technology which they hope to bring to the masses by 2020.
