Threads launches a new Communities feature that allows users to discuss selected topics locally. It is very similar to the Community feature on X. Initially, there are 100 communities discussing topics such as sports, K-pop, TV series, movies and more.

Twitter has finally released its Facebook Groups-like feature for Android users. Last September, the social media platform introduced Twitter Communities for iOS and web users. However, Android users could only access it by using the web version or a native app. 

As more and more Malaysians hop on Twitter over the years, Twitter just announced something big for their social platform. Called Super Follows, it will be a new payment feature for Twitter users to charge their followers for extra contents. There's also a new feature called Communities that users can create and join groups based on a certain interest.
