As many of you should know by now, the Malaysian government is planning to use Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) as a single wholesale model to distribute 5G services. At the same time, they are having second thoughts of that to allow competition and now according to Reuters, our local telcos have recommended allowing a second 5G service.

Can you believe it's December already? On that note, Digi is also kicking off a Juara Internet 2022 campaign until 28 February 2022 where customers can get free Internet, free e-vouchers and savings of up to 80% on devices. 

By now, some of you have heard the news of 3G services shutting down. Maxis has already begun the process and soon it will be Digi's turn. According to the schedule, it will begin from December 2021 onwards in different states with a different timeslot.

Today, Digi just announced that it has launched a new online store on Shopee Mall. Called the Digi Store on Shopee Mall, Digi subscribers and Malaysian customers can now directly access Digi's products such as Digi Prepaid Internet Top-Ups, and smart devices. 

Update: We saw some reports that the Digi signal and MyDigi app are back to normal. If you still can't get any line, Digi recommends restarting the phone and checking the connection afterwards. For us, switching aeroplane mode on and off or exiting and opening the MyDigi app again works too

In this short news, it seems that many Digi users are experiencing unstable mobile internet lines across Malaysia (or perhaps just KL itself). Initially, Digi performed system migration maintenance from the 25th until the 26th of October but it seems that some problems are persisting. 

In case you missed it, Digi did an announcement of scheduled system migration maintenance taking place today until tomorrow (25th and 26th of October). During the period, certain services won't be available to use so if you're a Digi user, read on below for a recap about what's happening.

Today, Samsung Malaysia just announced a new campaign with Digi's JomFibre plan for every Malaysian customer. Should the customers purchase a selected Samsung Smart Monitor, they will be entitled to a free RM150 JomFibre Digi e-voucher.

Recently, the Malaysian government announced a new package initiative for Malaysian households and all the telcos are involved including Digi. Called the Pakej Remaja Keluarga Malaysia and Pakej Peranti Keluarga Malaysia, they are now available to all eligible Malaysians until the 15th of April 2022.

When it comes to 10.10, various brands will hop on the hype train to sell their products. Surprisingly, Digi is joining the party as well with two new promotion deals for both prepaid and even non-Digi users.
