News & Reviews:   DJI Spark announce

DJI, the world’s leading civilian drone and aerial imaging technology experts have unveiled their new drone, the Spark, right here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Spark is an easy to use drone that can be launched and entirely controlled from the palm of your hand with specific hand gestures. Equipped on the Spark are all the necessary tools and features to turn you into an expert drone photographer/videographer in no time, all for the price from RM2288.

DJI has officially announced their DJI Spark mini drone for $499 (RM2135) which features a 12MP camera, intelligent object avoidance, gesture and phone remote controls and a lot more. Apparently there is also some form of biometric recognition with FaceAware, which activates the DJI Spark when it recognizes your face but it also offers video editing direct from your phone for easy sharing. Quite obviously, there are no Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but we should be able to expect it in Malaysian markets via Lazada and other third-party sellers in the coming weeks.
