Regarding Digi's newest Postpaid Plan that was unveiled yesterday, we decided to help you subscribers on how the plans look like now at the courtesy of Digi. As mentioned yesterday, subscribing to any of the plans below is available until 30 June 2016 and anyone can register it at their local website or any Digi outlets.
And as a friendly reminder, subscribing to any of the plans will benefit features like Internet Rollover, Digi Music Freedom, Capture cloud storage of 30GB, iflix access, unlimited social apps usage (Postpaid 28 and 48 excluded), family supplementary line, low international roaming cost as low as RM10 and others! If getting even an entry-level smartphone is difficult, then perhaps you'd be better off going for DiGi's Postpaid Simple plan which now offers the Sony Xperia E for free. The plan requires you to also select the Mobile Internet data plan of your choice as well but in the long run it should be worth it. You also have to sign up for a 24 month contract. It is amazing how some telcos can complicate their freebies by placing limitations on their various free calls or free SMS. Sometimes you get charged differently for free SMS or calls on the same network or over a different network and sometimes you only get said freebies under other conditions. In a move to keep things simple, DiGi have introduced their DG Postpaid Simple plan where you get RM100 worth of free voice calls and SMS to any network. The plan still works like any other Postpaid plan with a monthly commitment and call or SMS rate but do check out the details in the table below:

A couple of weeks ago, DiGi introduced their DG Smart Plan 58 and DG Smart Plan 88 for postpaid users looking to get a more affordable data plan. Now, they are expanding this lineup with their premium offer, the DG Smart Plan 148. Going for RM148 per month the plan offers 6GB of data in the form of 3GB Mobile Internet Quota and 3GB worth of Smart Apps Quota (Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp). The plan also includes 600 minutes of free calls and 600 free SMS to all networks. Due to the higher monthly fees, the call charges have been reduced compared to the other two plans.

In line with the rather meteoric rise of tablets in the PC market, DiGi has released a bunch new tablet-only postpaid plans. Initially these tablet-only plans started from RM15 a month for 500MB of data up to 2GB. However, now DiGi is offering plans up to 6GB a month from RM89 a month. They have even tossed in an extra incentive by offering 3 months worth of Evernote Premium access for free.
