  • DiGi offers HTC One (M8) from RM1299

DiGi offers HTC One (M8) from RM1299

With the recent HTC One (M8) officially launched in Malaysia, DiGi is coming out with postpaid bundles for the smartphone starting from RM1299, which is pretty good considering the retail price of RM2399. To qualify, you will have to subscribe for a SmartPlan 78, 108 or 148 under a 24-month contract. Loyal DiGi customers who have been using DiGi for more than 12 months will be rewarded by not having to pay the advanced payment. Unfortunately, there won't be any gold coloured model for those gold lovers as the HTC One (M8) from DiGi is only available in Glacial silver and Gunmetal Grey. DiGi offers Samsung Galaxy S5 on pre-order from RM1199

Going for a pre-order of the just locally released Samsung Galaxy S5, DiGi are now offering the smartphone from RM1199 on pre-order. Retailing at RM2399, the smartphone does cost quite a bit, so a discount past 50% is quite welcome, especially if you're planning to use a DG SmartPlan. Balancing out the lower price is the fact that you are limited to a 24 months contract but you'll still get the smartphone from 11 April 2014. The DiGi pre-order will end on 10 April 2014 and for some added value DiGi are also offering 9GB of data free for the 3 months after 19 April 2014. These include the DG SmartPlan 50, DG SmartPlan 78, DG SmartPlan 108 and DG SmartPlan 148. DiGi reveals refreshed DG SmartPlan with 4G LTE

Joining the rest of the major telcos in Malaysia, DiGi have recently unveiled their new DG SmartPlan postpaid plans which will feature 4G LTE connectivity. While there was 4G LTE provided previously for the DiGi Broadband and Tablet Internet Plans, the refresh should let smartphone owners join the fray. In line with this, DiGi have removed their SmartPlan 58 and SmartPlan 88 postpaid plans to be replaced with the DG SmartPlan 50, SmartPlan 78 and SmartPlan 108 all of which feature data, voice calls, SMS and other common services. In general, the plans offer more data and a few extra features such as unlimited calls within the DiGi network during weekends and so forth.
