In case you missed it, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) announced on its social media pages that the Time-of-Use (ToU) tariff switching feature is available on the myTNB app. This feature was introduced a few months ago, allowing customers to manage their electricity costs on the TNB website, and now directly from their smartphones.

It seems that Huawei, in collaboration with Cyrus, has officially unveiled the Cyrus Huawei Smart Selection SF5 EV at the price of around RMB216K (~RM137K). The EV is capable of achieving more than 1000KM+ range on a single charge, which is significantly higher compared to Tesla vehicles according to Huawei.

During the 18th Global Analyst Conference in Shenzhen, it seems that Huawei mentioned that they have invested more than USD1 billion in smart car components and R&D in order to manufacture the Huawei EV in the near future. Not only that, but Huawei claimed that their upcoming EV is able to achieve up to 1000KM range of autonomous driving on a single charge, which is significantly more compared to Tesla.

Based on a statement by reuters, it seems that there might a possibility that Huawei might be releasing their own electric vehicles in China somewhere around the end of 2021. Grab Indonesia has recently announced that they will start utilizing electric vehicles such as the Hyundai IONIQ from today onwards at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Terminal 3. This initiative will go hand in hand with Indonesia’s vision in developing an electric vehicle ecosystem, which would be beneficial to the environment.
