The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) has announced that it will be reviewing the previously set target of having 10,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the country by 2025. Its Minister, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz clarified that while the government is maintaining the target as of now, his Cabinet colleagues will re-examine whether it is actually achievable.

With electric vehicles (EVs) becoming mainstream, Shell just announced its latest plan to set up an electric vehicle charging hub in Resorts World Genting. Dubbed Shell Recharge, it will consist of 10 charging bays outfitting an ultra-fast 360kW high-performance charging (HPC) to enable EVs accessibility at the resort destination by early next year.

With electric vehicles on the rise in Malaysia, Public Bank (PB) has taken the opportunity to allow its customers to take advantage of its Visa Credit Card for EV Charging. According to the bank's official web portal, PB customers can get up to 30% cash back on EV Charging.
