Based on a statement by AndroidAuthority, it seems that Xiaomi recently uploaded a video onto their weibo account showcasing a smartphone that’s equipped with a telescopic lens that extends out of the body of the phone. While not much is known in regards to which smartphone will come equipped with the aforementioned technology, the video gives us a better idea on what to expect in the near future.

Based on a recent patent by OPPO, it seems that they’re working on a sliding smartphone that’s equipped with an extendable display. While not much is officially known in regards to the exact detail of the smartphone, our source did provide an image of how the smartphone could potentially look like.
