WhatsApp today announced the introduction of a new filter on their application, labelled "Favorites". Through it, you can label some friends or family members under the label, and then connect with them faster than others. So, what should you know about it?

Instagram yesterday announced that it is revamping the app by introducing ‘Favourites’ and ‘Following’, two new ways for your feed to behave. The good news is, regardless of which option you take, your feed will display posts in chronological order again!

Shared by the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri via a Meta blogpost yesterday, the change is part of the platform’s initiative to give users more choice and control over what they see in their feed. Furthermore, the change wants to make the time users spend on Instagram ‘feel more intentional’.

Facebook has announced a new app which allows them to get feedback from users in a faster and more responsive way for all of its apps including Instagram and Whatsapp. Not only that is new, there is also a source saying Facebook would be introducing one of Instagram's features which is ‘Close Friends’ on Facebook.
