Starting out quietly and ending with a bang, this week's Weekly TechNave highlights included the shockingly affordable Malaysia pricing for the Huawei P9 and P9 Lite along with Google I/O 2016 which revealed Android N, Daydream VR and a host of other features. Today, Flash Global (formerly known as Alcatel, they're now an independent brand) has presented online their latest smartphone - the full metal Flash Plus 2 as the successor the Alcatel Flash Plus. The device will have two variants based on their memory and it will make a debut in Malaysia on 24 May 2016 with a price tag of $160 (around RM642) for the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM version, while the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM will cost $190 (around RM763). The announcement for the live launch of the Flash Plus 2 smartphone recently went out. Set for 17 May 2016 at 4pm, you can check them out at their site and maybe even win a Flash Plus 2 via their lucky draw. Tech specs and features have not been detailed yet, but the teaser image clearly shows a fingerprint and mentions "More than Metal" indicating that it will have a metal body and a fingerprint sensor (perhaps built into the front home button). Other tech specs likely to return include an LED flash for both front and back cameras but you can check out the teaser video for yourself below.
